Feb ⁠9 (Reuters) - ⁠Apollo ‍Global Management is ‍nearing a deal ​to lend ​about $3.4 billion to an investment vehicle that will ​purchase Nvidia chips ​and lease them ‌to Elon Musk's xAI, the Information ​reported ⁠on Monday, citing a ‌person familiar with ‌the matter.

SpaceX and xAI ‌did not immediately respond to Reuters ‍requests for comment.

Mexico inflation speeds up in January after new taxes go into effect Feb 9, 2026 09:05AM

MEXICO CITY, Feb 9 - ⁠Inflation in ⁠Mexico ‍sped up in January, data from the national statistics agency showed Monday, supporting the central bank's decision last ‍week to hold its interest rate as it sees ​inflation taking longer to reach the bank's target. 

Consumer prices rose 3.79% in the ​year through January, above December's rate of 3.69% and slightly under the 3.82% forecast by analysts polled by Reuters.
