(Reuters) - A Tesla shareholder filed a lawsuit on Thursday accusing CEO Elon Musk of insider trading when he sold over $7.5 billion of shares of the electric car maker in late 2022, saying the billionaire entrepreneur sold the shares before potentially disappointing production and delivery numbers were made public.

Houthis fire missiles and drones from Yemen, US military says May 31, 2024 08:05PM

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. military said on Friday Yemen's Houthis launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles and one drone over the Gulf of Aden and four drones over the Red Sea.

Three of the drones fired over the Red Sea were destroyed by U.S. forces and one crashed into the sea, the U.S. military's Central Command said. Centcom also said it destroyed the drone fired over the Gulf of Aden.

Five killed in Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk, says Russian-installed governor May 31, 2024 07:31PM

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Shelling by the Ukrainian military killed five civilians and wounded several others in different districts of the Russian-controlled city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine on Friday, the Russia-installed leader of the region said.

Pro-Palestinian protesters occupy parts of Brooklyn Museum May 31, 2024 07:09PM

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Pro-Palestinian protesters took over parts of the Brooklyn Museum on Friday, hanging a banner above the main entrance, occupying much of the lobby and scuffling with police, witnesses said.

Some arrests were made but a New York Police Department spokesperson said it would be hours before officials had an accurate count. The art museum in the New York City borough of Brooklyn said it closed an hour early due to the disruption.

Biden vetoes congressional disapproval of SEC accounting bulletin on crypto assets May 31, 2024 07:04PM

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday vetoed a congressional disapproval of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's accounting bulletin on crypto assets.

"By virtue of invoking the Congressional Review Act, this Republican-led resolution would inappropriately constrain the SEC's ability to set forth appropriate guardrails and address future issues," Biden said in a statement released by the White House.
