LONDON (Reuters) - OPEC+ has agrees to extend voluntary oil production cuts of 2.2 million barrels per day into the third quarter of 2024, two OPEC+ sources said on Sunday.
Talks about cuts for the fourth quarter and 2025 continue, the sources said.

FRANKFURT, Germany (Reuters) - A firefighter died while trying to rescue residents trapped by major flooding in southern Germany after heavy rain that was expected to continue throughout Sunday.
The man, 42, was in a rescue boat carrying four firefighters that capsized late on Saturday. His body was recovered early on Sunday, said a spokesperson for the Bavarian town of Pfaffenbach an der Ilm, around 50 km (30 miles) north of Munich.

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran's foreign ministry has summoned the Chinese ambassador in Tehran to protest about a China-UAE statement related to Iran's sovereignty over three Islands also claimed by the UAE, Iranian state media reported on Sunday.

MOSCOW (Reuters) -Three people were injured after a fire broke out at an oil refinery owned by Russian oil major Lukoil near the city of Ukhta in Russia's northwestern Komi Republic, the emergencies ministry said on Sunday.
The ministry's regional branch said 74 of its staff were working to extinguish the fire, which occurred in a tank at the refinery, four kilometres (2.5 miles) from Ukhta.
