TBILISI, Feb 9 (Reuters) - U.S. Vice President JD Vance will visit Armenia and Azerbaijan this week to push a Washington-brokered peace agreement that could transform energy and trade routes in the strategic South Caucasus region.

LOS ANGELES, Feb 9 (Reuters) - U.S. seaports in January handled 6.8% less container import volume than the year-ago month, when U.S. companies rushed in goods to front-run President Donald Trump's tariffs and sent imports soaring to a record high for the month, supply chain technology provider Descartes Systems Group said on Monday.

ATHENS, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Survivors of a shipwreck that killed 15 Afghan migrants off Greece last week said that the dinghy they were in did not change course or ram a coastguard vessel, contradicting the official account by authorities.
Fifteen people died in the shipwreck off the island of Chios on February 3. Two dozen others, including 11 minors, were rescued, some of them seriously injured, the coastguard said.
