BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's attorney-general will indict former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra for allegedly insulting the monarchy, an official said on Wednesday, in a setback to a political heavyweight whose loyalists are currently in government. 

The complaint, lodged by the royalist military that ousted the government of his sister, Yingluck Shinawatra, had stemmed from an interview the influential tycoon gave to foreign media in 2015.

TOKYO (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury yields pushed to a near four-week peak on Wednesday, lifting their Asia-Pacific counterparts and the dollar while pressuring equities, as data sowed new doubts about the timing and extent of Federal Reserve rate cuts.

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea has warned residents living near the border with North Korea to be on alert after media reports said more than 90 balloons carrying various objects including what appeared to be trash and excrement had been detected.

South Korea's military said unidentified objects believed to be from North Korea were seen near the heavily fortified border and urged people to keep away and report them to the military or police.

(Reuters) - Elon Musk's Starlink, the satellite unit of SpaceX, is back up after an outage that affected thousands of users, the company said on Tuesday.

"The network issue has been fully resolved," Starlink said in a post on X.

Starlink's services were down for about an hour earlier today, affecting 41,393 users, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.
