KYIV (Reuters) - Ukraine's Ukrhydroenergo said on Thursday it had initiated international arbitration seeking damages for Russia's destruction of the Kakhovka Dam and power station in June 2023.
The state-run hydro-electric company estimated the damage at 2.5 billion euros ($2.72 billion), it said.

New scientific equipment being installed at the country's Huayna Potosi mountain peak will provide real-time measurements of glaciers' mass compared to much slower older methods.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Delta Air Lines plans to announce on Thursday it will apply for a new flight between Seattle and Washington Reagan National Airport as airlines battle over five new daily flights.
On May 16, U.S. President Joe Biden signed legislation creating the new flights at the busy airport in Arlington, Virginia. The law requires the U.S. Transportation Department to award the new flights by mid-July.
