U.S. Light-Vehicle SAAR Sees Sharp Drop in March - Audodata
Audodata reports U.S. SAAR at 16.57 million units in March, versus consensus estimate of 17.3 million units. SAAR was 17.54 million in February and 17.14 million in March of last year.
Total industry deliveries rose 3.2 percent versus the same period last year to $1.595 million. Passenger car sales fell 5.9 percent and light-truck sales gained 11.4 percent.
