Sales momentum increased throughout December, according to WSJ, citing the International Council of Shopping Centers. The acceleration could lead to the best holiday sales growth since 2011, the report said.
Estimates also suggest Dec. 20th, known as Super Saturday, topped Black Friday as the biggest shopping day of the year.
