Play the Super Bowl...With Stocks!

Here's how you could make a few bucks on the Super Bowl and eschew any illegal side-bets.

Two top, obvious picks will be Buffalo Wild Wings (Nasdaq: BLWD) and Papa John;s (Nasdaq: PZZA), with a smattering of Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM), Kraft (NYSE: KFT), Pepsi (NYSE: PEP), Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) and other consumables thrown in.

But what about entertainment? Bloomberg pegs the number of TVs to be sold at 4.5 million. Retailers like Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT), hhgregg (NYSE: HGG), and Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) will surely discount several TV selections to bring Super-fanatics through the doors.

Pittsburgh has somewhat of a Polish community, so you might want to look at Smithfield (NYSE: SFD), Tyson (NYSE: TSN), or Sanderson Farms (Nasdaq: SAFM). In Green Bay, we're thinking more of a fish/seafood community, so the same plays might apply.

Beer: Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE: BUD), Molson Coors Brewing Company (NYSE: TAP), and Diageo plc (NYSE: DEO).

The Super Bowl will be broadcast on Fox, thus you have News Corp. (Nasdaq: NWSA) as an offbeat play.
