Ada-Es Inc. (Nasdaq: ADES) 24.8% LOWER; Calgon Carbon Corp. (CCC) said it has decided not to pursue a long-term relationship with Ada-Es Inc. (ADES) to supply products for the removal of mercury emissions from coal-fired power plants. The companies also planned to jointly supply carbon to the electric power industry, agreeing in March to negotiate a plan. However, the companies were unable to come to an agreement, Ada-Es said in a separate release.
Micrel (Nasdaq: MCRL) 22.7% LOWER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.11, 1 cents worse than estimates.(0.12) Revenues were $65.1 million vs. $65.78 million consensus. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.12-$0.13, versus the consensus of $0.13.
Rimage Corporation (Nasdaq: RIMG) 21.8% LOWER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.28, 4 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $25.5 million vs. $28.1 million consensus. Sees Q3 EPS between $0.35-0.40 vs. consensus of $0.51 and revenues between $29-31 million vs. consensus of $36.7 million.
WCI Communities, Inc. (NYSE: WCI) 20.75% LOWER; Announced that its Board of Directors met with the Company's financial and legal advisors on July 25, 2007 to review the progress of the previously announced process to explore a sale of the company. To date, the Company has not received a definitive proposal for the purchase of the Company. While initially several companies expressed an interest in acquiring WCI, deteriorating conditions and uncertainty in the homebuilding and debt markets have made the sale process more challenging.

Amerigroup (NYSE: AGP) 14.75% HIGHER; Reported Q2 earnings of $0.61 per share, 15 cents better than estimates. ($0.46) Revenues came in at $1 billion versus the consensus of $925.8 million. Sees 2007 EPS of $2-$2.10, versus prior view of $1.81-$1.96 and the consensus of $1.88.
Hanesbrands Inc. (NYSE: HBI) 13.9% HIGHER; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.26, 6 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $1.12 billion vs. $1.14 billion consensus.
Omniture Inc. (NASDAQ: OMTR) 13.4% HIGHER; Reports Q2 results. Non-GAAP revenue for the quarter was $34.1 million. Non-GAAP net income was $1.8 million or $0.03 per diluted share. Piper Jaffray upgrade
VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VDSI) 12.3% HIGHER; Reports q2 EPS of $0.18, 3 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $32.4 million vs. $30.29 million consensus. Revenue growth is projected to be 55% to 65% for the full-year 2007 over full-year 2006, as compared to previous guidance of 35% to 45%. Operating profit (margin) as a percentage of revenue for full-year 2007 is projected to be in the range of 23% to 30% as compared to previous guidance of 18% to 25%.
