EPIX Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: EPIX) 21.8% LOWER; top-line results from its Phase 3 trial of PRX-00023, a novel long-acting 5-HT1A agonist, show that overall PRX-00023 did not achieve a statistically significant improvement over placebo for the primary endpoint.

Dyax Corp. (Nasdaq: DYAX) 15% HIGHER; According to a representative from the company, a competing drug for hereditary angioedema (HAE) from Jerini (www.jerini.com) did not meet its primary endpoint in one of two pivotal Phase III trials (FAST-1).

Phoenix Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PTEC) 14.4% LOWER; had previously indicated that it expected revenues for the fourth fiscal quarter, ending September 30, 2006, to be in the range of $12.5 million to $14.5 million. The Company now expects revenues for the fourth quarter to be in the range of $8.0 million to $9.0 million. Current consensus for Q4 revenues is $15.5 million.

Oscient Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: OSCI) 10% HIGHER; received an FDA approvable letter for the supplemental New Drug Application seeking approval for the five-day treatment of community-acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity with FACTIVE tablets.

Boston Scientific Corp. (NYSE: BSX) 10% LOWER; said third quarter preliminary net sales are estimated to range between $1.970 billion and $2.035 billion, versus the consensus of $2.17 billion. Preliminary adjusted earnings per share are estimated to range between $0.15 and $0.19 per share, versus the consensus of $0.16.

Nike (NYSE: NKE) 5% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $1.47, 5 cents better than estimates.(1.42) Revenues were $4.2 billion vs. $4.16 billion consensus.

Cognos Inc. (Nasdaq: COGN) 5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.33, 6 cents better than estimates.(0.27) Revenues were $229.9 million vs. $226.9 million consensus. Sees Q3 EPS between $0.40-0.44 vs. $0.40. Sees Q3 revenues between $237-245 million vs. $239.6 million consensus. Sees FY EPS between $1.58-1.65 vs. $1.51 consensus. Sees FY revenues between $950-970 million vs. $962.5 million consensus. COGN approves $200 million or 8 million share stock buyback.

SYNNEX Corp (NYSE: SNX) 4.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.45, 8 cents better than estimates.(0.37) Revenues were $1.59 billion vs. $1.55 billion consensus. Sees Q4 EPS between $0.44-0.46 (including $0.03 stock expense) vs. $0.43 consensus. Sees Q4 revenues between $1.67-1.72 billion vs. $1.71 billion consensus.

Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) 4% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.21, 3 cents better than estimates.(0.18) Revenues were $355.8 million vs. $354.38 million consensus. Sees Q2 EPS between $0.20-0.23 vs. $0.28 consensus. Sees Q2 revenues between $430-450 million vs. $472.7 million consensus. PALM announces $250 million stock buyback.

Advanced Analogic Technologies Inc (Nasdaq: AATI) INDICATED LOWER; expects to report Q3 revenues of approximately $19 to $20 million, and a GAAP net loss of $0.04 to $0.06 per share. The company previously announced it expected third quarter revenue in the range of $22 to $24 million, and, on a GAAP basis, a net loss of $0.01 to net income of $0.01 per diluted share.

BorgWarner Inc. (NYSE: BWA) INDICATED LOWER; revised its full-year 2006 earnings guidance down to $3.95 to $4.10 per share due to the significant recent customer volume declines and a greater-than-expected impact from higher commodity prices. The range excludes a one-time cost of approximately $0.15 per share related to the restructuring. Previous guidance was $4.35-$4.60 per share for the full year. Current consensus is $4.42.
