Pharmacyclics Inc. (NASDAQ: PCYC) 49% LOWER; Receives Refuse to File Letter for Xcytrin

Novastar Financial Inc. (NYSE: NFI) 35% LOWER; reports Q4 loss of $0.39, which includes multiple items and is not comparable to the consensus of a $0.73 profit. The company said, "during the period 2007 through 2011, we expect to recognize little, if any, taxable income. Given this outlook, management is currently evaluating whether it is in shareholders' best interest to retain the company's REIT status beyond 2007 given the asset, income and other REIT related restrictions the company must operate within."

Jupitermedia Corp. (NASDAQ: JUPM) 28% HIGHER; According to reports from the New York Post, Getty Images (NYSE: GYI) is in advanced talks to acquire Jupitermedia in a deal that could be worth more than $11 per share.

Hana Biosciences (NASDAQ: HNAB) 22% LOWER; said it will likely delay the launch of Zensana. The company said ongoing, long-term stability studies have detected small amounts of precipitated material in scale-up batches of Zensana, which may require an adjustment to the formulation and/or the manufacturing process. Hana is currently investigating this issue, and awaits results of on-going experiments. This issue is likely to delay FDA approval of Zensana beyond the expected Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) action date of April 30, 2007.

Dyax Corp. (NASDAQ: DYAX) 20% LOWER; reached a mutual agreement with Genzyme Corporation (NASDAQ: GENZ) to terminate their joint venture for the development and commercialization of DX-88 for hereditary angioedema.

BTU Int'l (Nasdaq: BTUI) 16% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.11, 13 cents worse than estimates.(0.24) Revenues were $16.6 million vs. $17.6 million consensus.

Chemed (NYSE: CHE) 16% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.73, 16 cents better than estimates.(0.57) Revenues were $272 million vs. $266.44 million consensus. Sees FY07 EPS between $2.45-2.60 vs. $2.26 consensus.

Group 1 Auto (NYSE: GPI) 14.7% LOWER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.67 per share, ex-items, 10 cents worse than estimates. Revenues came in at $1.51 billion versus the consensus of $1.53 billion. Sees FY07 EPS of $4.00-$4.25 versus the consensus of $4.26.

Pixelworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PXLW) 10% HIGHER; announced that Samsung has chosen its new co-processor IC for two slim CRT television models.

Possis Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: POSS) 10% LOWER; reports Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $0.05 (GAAP EPS was $0.01) vs. consensus of $0.03. Revenues were $15.8 million vs. $16.46 million consensus. For fiscal 2007, Possis Medical anticipates a strong second half, but has lowered its full-year sales guidance to the range of $66 million to $69 million, from $70 to $73 million.

Texas Roadhouse (Nasdaq: TXRH) 8% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.10, 1 cent better than estimates.(0.09) Revenues were $152.6 million vs. $153.6 million consensus. Sees 2007 EPS of at least $0.53 vs. consensus of $0.53.

New Century Financial Corp. (NYSE: NEW) 7.8% LOWER; NFI earnings/woes

ABN AMRO Holding N.V. (NYSE: ABN) 6% HIGHER; London-based fund, The Children's Investment Fund, urged the company to actively pursue the potential break up, spin-off, sale or merger of its various businesses (or as a whole). The company sees a "sum of the parts" value in excess of EUR 30 per share.

Medco Health Solutions (NYSE: MHS) 5.9% HIGHER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.84 per share, versus the consensus of $0.79. Revenues came in at $10.9 billion versus the consensus of $11.1 billion. Sees FY07 EPS of $3.31-$3.40 versus previous guidance of $3.12-3.19 and the consensus of $3.16.

Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACOR) 5% LOWER; Morgan Joseph starts at Sell and Banc of America downgrades

Powerwave Technologies (Nasdaq: PWAV) 5% LOWER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.22 (adjusted) vs. consensus for a loss of $0.05. Revenues were $169.8 million vs. $175.53 million consensus.

Orbital Sciences (NYSE: ORB) 4.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.20 per share, 14 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $215.8 million versus the consensus of $208.1 million. Sees FY07 EPS of $0.75-$0.80 versus previous guidance of $0.72-$0.77 and the consensus of $0.76. Sees FY07 revenues of $880-$900 million versus previous guidance of $870-$890 million and the consensus of $889.22 million.

El Paso Corporation (NYSE: EP) 4.5% LOWER; sees FY07 earnings per share from continuing operations of $0.82-$0.98 (Consensus is $1.16)

Central Parking Corp. (NYSE: CPC) 4.4% HIGHER; to Be Acquired by Private Equity Firms for $22.53 Per Share in Cash

Penson Worldwide (Nasdaq: PNSN) 4% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.30, 2 cents better than estimates.(0.28). Total revenues increased 37%, to $79.4 million compared to $57.9 million in the corresponding quarter of 2005.

Jack In The Box (NYSE: JBX) 3% HIGHER; reports Q1 earnings of $1.03 per share, versus the consensus of $0.81. Revenues came in at $856.7 million versus the consensus of $862 million. The company sees Q2 EPS of $0.67-0.70 versus the $0.68 consensus. Sees FY07 EPS of $3.27-$3.33 versus the consensus of $3.08.

EPIQ Systems (Nasdaq: EPIQ) 3% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.15 (ex-items), 9 cents better than estimates.(0.06) Total revenues were $46.6 million (Operating revenue was $38.7) vs. $31.47 million consensus.

Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) 3% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.61, 3 cents better than estimates.(0.58) Revenues were $3.048 billion vs. $3.07 billion consensus. sees FY07 EPS between $2.34 to $2.38, raising the lower end of the previously stated range of $2.30 to $2.38. NICE Systems (Nasdaq: NICE) 2.3% HIGHER; reports Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $0.37 (GAAP EPS was $0.19) vs. consensus of $0.34. Revenues were $120.4 million vs. $118.14 million consensus. Raising full year 2007 non-GAAP revenue guidance to $487-502 million, and non-GAAP EPS guidance, on a fully diluted basis, up to $1.36-$1.46.

JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) 1.8% HIGHER; guides lower resulting from the February 14, 2007 New York metropolitan area ice storm and related recovery period -- but Merrill Lynch upgrades to Buy

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) 1% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.65 (ex-items), 3 cents better than estimates.(0.62) Revenues were $25.1 billion vs. $24.28 billion consensus. Merck (NYSE: MRK) 0.8% LOWER; According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, the company plans to suspend lobying for mandatory Gardasil use.

Zale (NYSE: ZLC) INDICATED LOWER; reports Q2 earnings of $1.94 per share, ex-items, 5 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $1 billion versus the consensus of $1.02 billion. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.00-$0.04, ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.25. Sees FY07 EPS of $1.46-$1.52, ex-items, versus the consensus of $1.68.
