UPWARD MOVERS:
The Washington Post Company (NYSE: WPO) +$46.00; Reports Q2 EPS of $7.19 vs. consensus of $8.33. Revenues were $1.05 billion vs. $1.02 billion consensus. Results for the second quarter of 2007 included additional net income tax expense of $9.2 million ($0.97 per share) as the result of a $15.5 million ($1.63 per share) increase in taxes associated with Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited, the Company's 49%-owned affiliate based in Canada, and a tax benefit of $6.3 million ($0.66 per share) associated with recent changes in certain state income tax laws. (NOTE - light volume)

Ruddick Corporation (NYSE: RDK) +$6.10; Reports Q3 EPS of $0.44, 2 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $923 million vs. $943.05 million consensus. BB&T Capital and S&P Equity Research upgraded the stock this morning.

Pharmion Corp. (Nasdaq: PHRM) +$5.15; Stock continues higher after yesterday's positive results from Vidaza study. Citigroup and Morgan Stanley upgrade the stock today.

Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) +$4.90; Stock moving higher with no specific news releases.

Town Sports International Holdings (NASDAQ: CLUB) +$3.12; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.24, 3 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $119.8 million vs. $119.82 million consensus. Sees FY EPS between $0.79-0.83 vs. consensus of $0.80.


DOWNWARD MOVERS:
TETRA Technologies (NYSE: TTI) -$7.10; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.30 vs. consensus of $0.52. Revenues were $258.13 million vs. $296.88 million consensus. (Q2 includes the negative impact of $0.05 per share from a dispute with an insurer regarding insurance claims related to the 2005 hurricanes) Due to the reduced profit level experienced in the second quarter, the company is modifying full year 2007 earnings guidance to a range of $1.30 - $1.50 per share. (Consensus is $1.92)

Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE: MA) -$6.60; Stock continues to sell-off for 4th consecutive session (a drop of approx. 17%)

Network Appliance (NASDAQ: NTAP) -$5.73; Sees Q1 revenues in the range of $684 to $688 million, versus prior guidance of $745 to $753 million. Non-GAAP net income per share is expected to be in the range of $0.19 to $0.20, versus prior view of $0.24 to $0.25.

Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRA) -$4.75; Reports Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $0.45 ($0.20 GAAP) vs. consensus of $0.40. Revenues were $46.7 million vs. $46.5 million consensus. Sees Q3 revenues between $47-48 million vs. $49.85 million consensus.

Walter Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WLT) -$3.60; Reports Q2 EPS of $0.34, 34 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $296.5 million vs. $327.77 million consensus.
