According to reports out Tuesday, Disney (NYSE: DIS) is expected to announce a new initiative whereby it will trim or cut-out junk food ads entirely from its TV and radio. The announcement is expected to be made Tuesday by CEO Bob Iger, in conjunction with a health initiative by First Lady Michelle Obama.

With obesity among kids hitting record highs, PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP) and Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO), along with fast food giant McDonald's (NYSE: MCD), have been pushing healthier options for youths to appease both health professionals (read: doctors) and parents.
