I decided to take a break from reading stock reports and take a look at an article from Playboy, which ranks America's hottest CEOs. The list is not that long, but does include two CEOs from public companies.
Playboy said this list was inspired by recent reports that the Fortune 500 now includes more women CEOs than ever before. After going through the list it appears only two of the women on the list are public company CEOs.
Those two CEOs are Lifeway Foods (Nasdaq: LWAY) CEO Julie Smolyansky. She is pictured in this article and runs the food processing company. Julie Smolyansky is 33 and was appointed as a Director, and elected President, CEO, CFO and Treasurer of the Company by the Board of Directors to fill the vacancies in those positions created by the death of her father, Michael Smolyansky, in June 2002.
Additionally, Limited Brands' (NYSE: LTD) Victoria's Secret CEO, Sharen Turney, made Playboy's Sexiest CEO list. Last year, Turney revamped Victoria's Secret stores and increased sales by ramping up the glamour, and putting the flirtatious mystery back into the lingerie brand.
