Pacific Sunwear Announces Second Quarter Operating Results; Issues Third Quarter Guidance
August 28, 2014 4:00 PM EDTANAHEIM, Calif., Aug. 28, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSUN) (the "Company"), announced today that net sales from continuing operations for the second quarter of fiscal 2014 ended August 2, 2014, were $211.7 million versus net sales from continuing operations of $210.1 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 ended August 3, 2013. Comparable store sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2014 were 0.3%. The Company ended the second quarter of fiscal 2014 with 618 stores versus 637 stores a year ago.
