First Connecticut Bancorp, Inc. Reports Second Quarter 2014 Earnings of $0.15 Basic and $0.14 Diluted Earnings Per Share Driven by a 47% Increase in Linked Quarter Earnings
July 24, 2014 8:37 AM EDTFARMINGTON, Conn., July 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Connecticut Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: FBNK), the holding company for Farmington Bank (the "Bank"), reported net income of $2.2 million, or $0.15 basic and $0.14 diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 compared to net income of $1.5 million, or $0.10 basic and diluted earnings per share in the linked quarter. Basic and diluted earnings per share were $0.05 for the second quarter of 2013.
