S&P Raises National Retail Properties (NNN) to 'BBB+'; Consistent Performace, Prudent Growth Strategy Cited
July 17, 2014 3:15 PM EDTStandard & Poor's Ratings Services today raised its corporate credit and issue ratings on Orlando, Fla.-based National Retail Properties Inc. (NYSE: NRP) to 'BBB+' from 'BBB'. The outlook is stable.
"The ratings upgrade reflects our view that National Retail Properties' consistently solid operating results, conservative underwriting, and prudent growth strategy has strengthened its overall position relative to similarly rated peers," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Jaime Gitler.
