S&P Lowers Outlook on Cameco Corp. (CCJ) to Negative; Affirms Ratings
June 10, 2014 12:02 PM EDTStandard & Poor's Ratings Services said it revised its outlook on Canada-based uranium producer Cameco Corp. (NYSE: CCJ) to negative from stable. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'BBB+' long-term corporate credit and issue-level ratings on the company's senior unsecured notes, and its 'A-2' global scale and 'A-1(Low)' Canada scale short-term ratings on the company.
"The outlook revision reflects our assessment that cash tax payments to the Canada Revenue Agency over the next two years will weaken Cameco's core credit measures along with higher expected debt levels," said... More
