Windows Phone (MSFT) Growth Expected to Outpace Industry Through 2018 - IDC (AAPL) (GOOG)
May 29, 2014 7:16 AM EDTAccording to a recently published mobile phone forecast from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, worldwide smartphone shipments will reach a total of 1.2 billion units in 2014, marking a 23.1% increase from the 1.0 billion units shipped in 2013. From there, total volumes will reach 1.8 billion units in 2018, resulting in a 12.3% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from 20132018.

May 28, 2014 4:29 PM EDTBlackBerry (NASDAQ: BBRY) CEO John Chen sees the company being cash-flow positive or breakeven by the end if 2014. He also said there were no big rounds of job cuts ahead, according to an interview on CNBC.
Chen said Z2 handset sales were quite good in Indonesia.
