May 6, 2014 8:35 AM EDTIsis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISIS) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.27), $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.23). Revenue for the quarter came in at $28.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $35.12 million.
On a GAAP basis, Isis reported a loss from operations of $29.7 million for the three months ended March 31, 2014 compared to income from operations of $1.6 million for the same period in 2013. Isis maintained its strong cash position and ended the first quarter of 2014 with approximately $631 million in cash compared to $657 million at December 31, 2013.
