Middlesex Water Company Reports First Quarter 2014 Financial Results
May 2, 2014 1:13 PM EDTISELIN, N.J., May 2, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Middlesex Water Company (the "Company"), (Nasdaq: MSEX), a provider of water and wastewater and related services primarily in New Jersey and Delaware, today announced operating revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
First Quarter Operating Results
Consolidated operating revenues increased $0.1 million for the three months ended March 31, 2014 to $27.2 million. Net income was $3.1 million, consistent with the same period in 2013. Â Basic and diluted earnings per share were $0.20 for the three months ended March 31, 2014, consistent with the same period in 2013.Â
