United States Steel Corp. (X) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c; Sees Reduced Net Income in Q2
April 29, 2014 4:13 PM EDTUnited States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) reported Q1 EPS of $0.34, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.45 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.51 billion.
Commenting on U. S. Steel's outlook for the second quarter, CEO Mario Longhi said, "We expect reduced income from operations in the second quarter.
