April 23, 2014 4:02 PM EDTWILLIMANTIC, Conn., April 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SI Financial Group, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: SIFI), the holding company of Savings Institute Bank and Trust Company (the "Bank"), reported net income of $906,000, or $0.07 basic and diluted earnings per share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 versus a net loss of $77,000, or $0.01 basic and diluted loss per share, for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.
