Stage Stores (SSI) to Unload Steele’s Division
March 6, 2014 6:19 AM ESTStage Stores, Inc. (NYSE: SSI) announced that it has reached an agreement to sell its Steeles off-price retail stores (Steeles) to a new retail unit of Hilco Global.
Under the terms of a purchase and sale agreement, Steeles & Deals, LLC, part of the Hilco Global Retail Group, will acquire the Steeles retail chain from Stage Stores through a 100% equity purchase.
