Moody's Raises Outlook on Netflix (NFLX) to Positive; Cites Strong Operating Performance
January 31, 2014 12:42 PM ESTMoody's Investors Service changed Netflix, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: NFLX) rating outlook to positive from stable and affirmed the company's existing Ba3 Corporate Family Rating (CFR), Ba2-PD Probability of Default Rating, and the Ba3 senior unsecured debt rating. The company's SGL - 1 Speculative Grade Liquidity (SGL) rating remains unchanged.
The change in outlook is driven by the company's strong operating performance over the last twelve months, coupled with expectations for continued steady growth in subscribers and improvement in credit metrics over the forward rating horizon. Netflix (NFLX) Has 40% of U.K. OTT Market, According to Latest ABI Figures
January 28, 2014 10:22 AM ESTNetflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) helped boost subscription services to nearly 40% of the UK OTT market. The worldwide OTT video market reached nearly US$ 11B in 2013, of which Netflix is also a significant contributor in the North American and expanding Latin American markets.
