Netflix (NFLX) Has 40% of U.K. OTT Market, According to Latest ABI Figures
January 28, 2014 10:22 AM ESTNetflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) helped boost subscription services to nearly 40% of the UK OTT market. The worldwide OTT video market reached nearly US$ 11B in 2013, of which Netflix is also a significant contributor in the North American and expanding Latin American markets. According to ABI Researchs findings, OTT revenue share will shift to TVOD (transactional video on demand) and advertising as new services emerge.
