Starbucks Corp (SBUX) Tops Q3 EPS by 2c

Starbucks Corp (NASDAQ: SBUX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.55, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.74 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.72 billion.
Global comparable store sales grew 8% driven by 7% growth in traffic.
Consolidated operating margin expanded 150 basis points to 16.4%
Starbucks Corp sees FY2013 EPS of $2.22-$2.23, versus the consensus of $2.19. Starbucks Corp sees FY2013 revenue of $2.12-2.18 million.
