Lennar Corp. (LEN) Tops Q2 Views as Sales Rise 53%; Fundamentals Remain Strong

(NYSE: LEN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.61, including a partial reversal of the state deferred tax asset valuation allowance of $0.18, versus analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came rose 53% to $1.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.33 billion.
New home deliveries, excluding unconsolidated entities, increased to 4,449 homes in the second quarter of 2013 from 3,192 homes in the second quarter of 2012.
