Janney Montgomery Scott Downgrades TiVo (TIVO) to Neutral
June 7, 2013 10:36 AM EDTJanney Montgomery Scott downgraded TiVo (NASDAQ: TIVO) from Buy to Neutral with a price target of $14.25 after the company announced a settlement with GOOG, CSCO, and TWC for a combined upfront payment of $490 million.
"This number is at the low end of what we had been expecting, which we believe was lower than others on the sell side," analyst Tony Wible said.

(NASDAQ: TIVO) has settled its pending patent litigation with Motorola (now owned by Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) and Arris), Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) and Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) and that TiVo has agreed to enter into certain patent licensing arrangements with Arris, Cisco, and Google.
