JPMorgan (JPM) Trading Off to a Strong Start in Q2; Estimates Raised at Evercore

Evercore Partners analyst Andrew Marquardt reiterated his Overweight rating and raised estimates on JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) Tuesday citing better trading activity so far in Q2.

Marquardt said that at a conference this morning Co-CEO of CIB Mike Cavanagh noted trading results so far in 2Q are about 10-15% higher than in the same time frame a year ago (so mid-2Q12), and that trends are consistent across both FICC and equities.
