Potash Corporation (POT) Tops Q1 EPS by 4c; Reaffirms Outlook
April 25, 2013 6:54 AM EDTPotash Corporation (NYSE: POT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.63, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.82 billion.
"With farmers around the world motivated to capitalize on the link between fertility and profitability, the first quarter gave us an opportunity to demonstrate our ability to deliver," said PotashCorp President and Chief Executive Officer Bill Doyle.
