That is the scuttlebutt on Wall Street Monday following a Forbes article over the weekend. Forbes' contributor Gene Marcial said Wall Street sources close to Apple executives claim the company is secretly searching for a new CEO to replace Cook.

Apple (AAPL) Q2 Results, Q3 Outlook Won't Be as Bad as Feared - Sterne Agee
April 22, 2013 7:58 AM EDTSterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu reiterated his Buy rating and trimmed his price target on Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) from $630 to $610 ahead of second quarter 2013 results due Tuesday, April 23, after the close. Wu said Apple will likely hit the lower-end of its guidance range meaning a slight miss. However, for the June quarter, expectations may have come down far enough where guidance may not be as conservative as expected.
