Google (GOOG) Gets Into Same-Day Delivery, Broadening its Reach
March 28, 2013 12:29 PM EDTGoogle (NASDAQ: GOOG) announced its long-awaited local delivery service, Shopping Express, Thursday in what Baird analyst Colin Sebastian says is "consistent with Google's ambitions to create a larger commerce platform, bring more local product inventory into search, and also counter competition from Amazon and eBay."
