Red Hat (RHT) Numbers Trimmed at Needham & Company Post Q4

Investors took their frustration out on Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) following a Q4 flop after the close, sending the stock down as much as 10%. However, all is not lost, according to analysts at Needham & Company.

Shares Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT) collapsed after-hours Wednesday after top-line fourth quarter results fell short of Wall Street expectations.

The open source software leader reported that fourth quarter revenue was up 17 percent to $348 million, which missed the consensus of $349.64 million.

Non-GAAP adjusted net income for the fourth quarter was $70 million, or $0.36 per share, which beat the consensus estimates of $0.30... More
