The Street Might Be Overestimating Facebook (FB) As Revs Through FY14 - Analyst
March 13, 2013 11:10 AM EDTAmid Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) announcing new integration with Facebook (Nasdaq: FB), shares of Facebook are lower on the session amid cautious comments out of BTIG.
BTIG said it sees ad revenue growth at Facebook to be rapid in 2013 and beyond, but overall growth will be pressured on the decline of desktop ad revs. The firm believes that Street consensus estimates for fiscal 2014 and beyond might be aggressive and also believe Q113 revs could disappoint, with particular emphasis on the mobile segment.
