Tyson Foods (TSN) Tops Q1 EPS by 8c, Guides FY Revs In-Line, Comments
February 1, 2013 7:36 AM ESTTyson Foods Inc. (NYSE: TSN) reported Q1 EPS of $0.48, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $8.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $8.61 billion.
Tyson Foods Inc. sees FY2013 revenue of $35 million, versus the consensus of $35.54 million.
Outlook
Our continued capital investment in our businesses, strong liquidity and reduced interest expense will help us to maintain strong operating results despite challenging market conditions.
