"In 2003 I helped Bill Ackman out of a jam he was in with a fund called Gotham Partners, by buying Gotham's stake in a company called Hallwood Partners.

Bill Ackman Fires Back at Icahn: 'He Does Not Keep His Word'

The feud between hedge fund mangers Carl Icahn and Bill Ackman entered a new level Thursday after Icahn aired his disgust over how Ackman has handled his Herbalife (NYSE: HLF) short in a Bloomberg TV interview.
