Akanda Announces Receipt of Nasdaq Notice Regarding Minimum Stockholders' Equity Requirement

(NASDAQ: AKAN) (the "Company" or "Akanda"), today announced that it received a notification letter from the Listing Qualifications Department of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") on June 16, 2026 indicating that the Company is not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(1), which requires companies listed on The Nasdaq Capital Market to maintain a minimum of $2.5 million in stockholders' equity for continued listing.
