Capital One Reports Second Quarter 2025 Net Loss of $4.3 Billion, or $(8.58) Per Share

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Capital One Financial Corporation (NYSE: COF) today announced net loss for the second quarter of 2025 of $4.3 billion, or $(8.58) per diluted common share, compared with net income of $1.4 billion, or $3.45 per diluted common share in the first quarter of 2025, and with net income of $597 million, or $1.38 per diluted common share in the second quarter of 2024.
