PepsiCo (PEP) tops earnings, revenue expectations in Q1
April 23, 2024 6:17 AM EDTPepsiCo (NASDAQ: PEP) reported a modest decline in stock price premarket Tuesday, down 0.5%, even after announcing first-quarter earnings and revenue that surpassed analyst expectations. The company posted adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.61, which was $0.09 higher than the analyst estimate of $1.52. Revenue for the quarter was reported at $18.25 billion, exceeding the consensus estimate of $18.1 billion.
