American Express (AXP) shares fall despite topping Q3 expectations
October 20, 2023 11:31 AM EDTAmerican Express (NYSE: AXP) shares fell more than 4% Friday after the company reported earnings for its latest quarter.
The bank posted earnings of $3.30 per share, $0.34 better than the analyst estimate of $2.96, while revenue for the quarter came in at $15.38 billion versus the consensus estimate of $15.37 billion.
