Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares are trading largely flat in the pre-open Wednesday trading following the launch of the iPhone 15 during the technology giant's yesterday event.

It's noteworthy that Apple's stock has historically experienced declines on iPhone release days. Shares fell 1.7% yesterday.
