September 13, 2023 5:48 AM EDTApple (NASDAQ: AAPL) shares are trading largely flat in the pre-open Wednesday trading following the launch of the iPhone 15 during the technology giant's yesterday event.
It's noteworthy that Apple's stock has historically experienced declines on iPhone release days. Shares fell 1.7% yesterday.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, featuring USB-C charging and starting at $799. The company also introduced the higher-end iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, starting at $999.

Investing.com -- Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 and new Apple Watch Series 9 on Tuesday, boasting improved connectivity, faster chips, and USB-C charging. The tech giant raised the price of its higher-end iPhone Pro Max, but surprised some on Wall Street by keeping the price of its iPhone Pro model unchanged from last year.
