August 17, 2023 9:30 PM EDTCLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Athersys, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATHX), today announced the pricing of its reasonable best efforts public offering of 10,937,500 shares of common stock (or common stock equivalents in lieu thereof) at a purchase price of $0.32 per share. The Company further agreed to issue to the investors Series A Warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 10,937,500 shares of common stock and Series B Warrants to purchase up to an aggregate of 10,937,500 shares of common stock.
