April 26, 2023 10:03 AM EDTThe UK Competition and Markets Authority on Wednesday moved to block Microsoft's (NASDAQ: MSFT) acquisition of Activision Blizzard (NASDAQ: ATVI), dealing a blow to the US tech giant, although it said it plans to appeal the decision.
ATVI shares are down more than 8% following the news, while Microsoft is up over 6%.
