CEO Tim Cook 'excited' as Apple (AAPL) opens its first store in India
April 18, 2023 9:00 AM EDTApple (NASDAQ: AAPL) opened their first store in India on Tuesday, highlighting the importance of the market to the companys future.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has long viewed India as a key market to Apples future and in February he said he was bullish on the worlds fifth-largest economy and the company is putting a significant amount of energy into the market.

Apple's (AAPL) move in India could be a 'strategic poker move,' claims Wedbush analyst
April 17, 2023 8:22 AM EDTApple (NASDAQ: AAPL) could ramp annual revenue to $20 billion by 2025 in India, according to Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives who has an Outperform rating and $205 price target on the stock.
"This week marks a significant strategic move for Cupertino as Cook will cut the red ribbon on the first India retail stores this week in Mumbai and New Delhi," Ives explained.
