Li Auto (LI) XPeng (XPEV) and NIO Inc. (NIO) report 1Q delivery numbers
April 3, 2023 8:01 AM EDTLi Auto (NASDAQ: LI), XPeng (NYSE: XPEV) and NIO Inc. (NYSE: NIO) reported 1Q23 delivery numbers Monday, with LI leading the pack of start-ups. Li Auto announced that the company delivered 20,823 vehicles in March 2023, surpassing the 20,000 monthly delivery mark again and representing an increase of 88.7% year over year. This latest report brings Lis cumulative vehicle deliveries to 309,918 as of the end of March.

Chinese EV start-ups gain on March delivery results
April 3, 2023 7:41 AM EDTSeveral Chinese electric vehicle companies reported March deliveries and sales numbers, with BYD and GAC Aion each reporting 97% YoY delivery growth. Aion reported deliveries of 40k unit sales, up 97% YoY/33% MoM, while BYD reported its total Mar sales volume, including both passenger vehicles (PVs) and commercial vehicles (CVs), at 207k units, up 97% YoY/7% MoM.
