At the close in NYSE, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.06%, while the S&P 500 index added 1.68%, and the NASDAQ Composite index added 2.14%.

(Reuters) -Shares of U.S. regional banks rose on Tuesday after tumbling by double-digit percentages over the past several days in the wake of the biggest bank collapse since the 2008 global financial crisis.
The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank sent shockwaves through global markets, despite assurances from U.S. President Joe Biden and other policymakers that banks and deposits were safe.
