Rivian (RIVN) Drops Following Big Recall
October 10, 2022 7:03 AM EDTShares of Rivian Automotive (NASDAQ: RIVN) dropped more than 6.5% in pre-market trading on Monday after the company announced that they would be recalling 13,000 vehicles. Rivians Chief Executive Officer RJ Scaringe wrote an email alerting staff on Friday that there would be a recall as the fastener to the front steering knuckle "may not have been sufficiently torqued" when the vehicles were manufactured.
