Acme United Reports 27% Net Sales Increase for Second Quarter of 2022
July 22, 2022 9:00 AM EDTSHELTON, Conn., July 22, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Acme United Corporation (NYSE American: ACU) today announced that net sales for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, were $56.8 million compared to $44.8 million in the second quarter of 2021, an increase of 27%. Net sales for the six months ended June 30, 2022, were $100.1 million, compared to $88.4 million in the same period in 2021, an increase of 13%.
Net income was $2.7 million, or $0.71 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, compared to $7.2 million or $1.82 per diluted share, for the same period in 2021, a decrease of 62% in net income... More
