ALLETE, Inc. Reports First Quarter Earnings of $1.24 Per Share

DULUTH, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ALLETE, Inc. (NYSE: ALE) today reported first quarter 2022 earnings of $1.24 per share on net income of $66.3 million. Last years results were 99 cents per share on net income of $51.8 million.
Net income in 2022 includes transaction costs of $1.4 million after-tax, or 3 cents per share, related to the acquisition of New Energy. Net income in 2021 included an approximately $5 million, or 10 cents per share, negative impact related to ALLETE Clean Energys Diamond Spring wind energy... More
